Our Shiatsu Treatment is based on the traditional ancient techniques practiced in China and Japan. This marvelous and unique treatment consists of stimulating the acupressure points on the 12 meridians that extend throughout the body. Similar to Neuromuscular Therapy, the stimulation of these points are done by using sustained digital pressure on the points or “wells of energy” in the meridians which calms and energizes the whole body bringing it into perfect balance.

Foot and Hand Reflexology is a treatment based on traditional massage focusing on the feet and hands where abundant nerve endings connect directly to virtually every organ of the body. Deep massage and pressure are used, sometimes with the use of sustained pressure applied to the various “zones” on the feet and hands that react directly to the body’s organs. This helps to break up crystallization around the “zones”, dissolves blocked energy, will help to relieve pain and discomfort and increases health and vitality for the body.

It is recommended that your Foot and Hand Reflexology Treatment be combined with a Scalp Massage Treatment for a total rejuvenation of your body!

Scalp Massage - One half hour, $25.00

Scalp Massage Treatment is a deeply relaxing treatment that is still highly stimulating to the hair follicles and cranial tissues. It’s specifically designed for those who would still like to enjoy a scalp massage but without the oils.

Therapeutic Hand & Foot Paraffin Treatment is tremendously beneficial for arthritic, overused, painful or tired hands and feet. Multiple layers of paraffin are placed on your hands and feet. Both are then “mitted” which allows the treatment to penetrate deeply into the tissues and joints. A hand, arm and foot massage completes the treatment.

Ear Candling Treatment – One hour, $50.00

The Ear Candling Treatment is a century old Eastern Indian “home remedy”.

The spiral end of a small candle is gently inserted into the ear and the outer wick of the candle is lit. The spiral of the cone causes the smoke from the burning candle to be drawn downward into the ear canal which causes the canal to warm and loosens wax and other debris lying there.

The candle flame and the cone geometry create a gentle vacuum that draws out the ear’s debris and helps to relieve congestion. You may also experience a cleansing of your sinuses, Eustachian tubes and nasal passages.
